Supply List

Garden Gate 4th Grade Suggested Supply List  

We will be putting our supplies together on Wednesday, August 21st.  Please have all supplies by this time.

Supplies your student will need in class:

  • Two (2) Non-Pronged pocket folders, each with a different design or appropriate picture – No plain colors, please! (Example)
  • Four (4) pocket folders with prongs, plain colors, one each of yellow, green, blue & orange. (Example)
  • One yellow, non-pronged folder (Example)
  • Inexpensive set of headphones or earbuds for computer/iPad – cheapest set possible – No name brands please
  • Backpack (preferably without wheels as they are easier to hang outside)
  • Clipboard
  • Protractor (Clear – least expensive kind) (Example)
  • Compass (least expensive kind) (Example)
  • Reusable water bottle with straw (water bottle is optional, but please do not bring plastic disposable bottles to school!)
  • One old mismatched sock
  • 2 fine line dry erase markers
  • Inexpensive mechanical pencils (Example) – No OXIGEL’s!

Your student will need two sets of these supplies – one for the classroom, and one for home:

  • Pencil box/pouch that is big enough to hold all of the other items in this list:
  • Small stapler
  • Small pencil sharpener
  • Pencils
  • 1 pink and 1 yellow highlighter
  • Scissors
  • Large glue stick (2) – White
  • Wooden ruler with both standard and metrics measurements (Example)
  • 1 fine point and 1 extra fine point black sharpie
  • Thin & thick markers
  • Colored pencils – 24 pack
  • Crayons (24)
  • 3×3 post-its sticky note pads (2 different colors)
